Privacy
ZipTv is an IPTV player for LG TVs. You bring your own playlist: ZipTv does not provide, sell or look at any TV channels. This page explains what our server handles when you set up your TV from your phone.
Your playlist and login
When you enter a playlist link or an Xtream login on this page, it is encrypted on your phone with a key that only your TV holds. Our server passes the encrypted data to your TV and cannot read it. It deletes it as soon as the TV picks it up, or after 10 minutes if it never does. Your playlist is then stored only on your TV.
What the server keeps
- Your TV: a random ID, a scrambled (hashed) copy of the TV's access token, the app version, the platform (webOS) and when the TV last connected. No name, email, LG account or TV serial number.
- Setup codes: the code shown on your TV, the TV's public key and whether setup worked (and how many channels loaded, or an error code). Deleted about an hour after the code expires.
- Your IP address: held in memory for a few minutes to limit abuse (for example someone guessing codes). Our application logs do not record IP addresses, codes or playlist data. Our hosting provider may log IP addresses at its network edge for security.
No tracking
This page has no cookies, no analytics, no ads and no third-party scripts. It loads nothing from other websites.
Where it runs
Our server and database run on Render in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). Traffic passes through Render's network provider (Cloudflare).
Your choices
You can always type your playlist on the TV instead. To have your TV's record deleted, contact us and we will delete it.
